The Crossing

"BONZAI!" She shouts and jumps in front of bull. But she feels stupid why she did that, as the bull charges at her. She whines and jumps out of it's way. She quickly turns around and bites it's leg. She feels blood in her mouth, and with that, she gets excited and bites the bull even harder. But bull turns to other way and MD gets behind it. But she starts running after it...

Vegeta enters the large area with his head to the ground and his ears cocked forward. He sniffs the ground and marks the territory as he goes, then he sits down by the river and thinks to himself: I should take journeys around the territory more often to get know it better. He then watches his fellow pack members hunt a bull from the side and mutters softly watching Moon Daughter: fools. He sits in front of the river and rests, watching the hunt, knowing that they are doing fine without me.

MD runs after bull biting whatever she can reach. She looks around and sees a black wolf just sitting near river "Come on! Help us!" She shouts and runs after bull biting it's leg again...

Vegeta just continues sitting there with his ears cocked forward. He shakes his head and shouts to Moon Daughter: I'm the Brave Fang! Not a swift claw!" He then growls irritably and gets up on his paws. Then Vegeta becomes a sleek dark brown shape. Being as fast as a darting swallow, but springing in a clear, straight line across the grass, covering the distance between him and the bull in a matter of seconds. I'm doing this because I'm hungry. He thinks with dark thoughts, even though hes secretly doing it for his pack. He swerved and clamped his powerful jaws around the bull's neck.

She sighed at the Brave Fang's comment and muttered under her breath - "everyone has to hunt" - as she ran towards the bull to catch up with the others. She snapped her jaws repeatedly at it's already bleeding ankle whenever she got the chance, hoping it would slow it down as Vegeta launched at its vulnerable neck. She reared up on her hind legs a little as she ran her ivories down the elk's leg, noticing it was by now beginning to limp.

After Vegeta gets thrown off he pivits off the ground and is a dark brown shape again. Vegeta then clamps his powerful jaws around the bull's throat and shakes his head making the bull stop with so many wolves on it. He clamps down harder with amazing bite force and he lets go when he sees the bull fall over. Vegeta stands tall, panting. Blood dripping from his fangs.

MD bites bull once more and stands still, watching it. She smiles as bull stops moving and it's body shakes one last time, before falling asleep forever... She looks at Vegeta interested, but then looks around at shining snow and says "Is it spring already? Or not?" She walks around sniffing breezy air...

"Yes, it is. Now, I would clearly like to see more members at the den. And you must be the new Brave Fang. Vegeta, was it? Look, I don't have much time for chit-chat. I followed the trail of a badger out here, and I want MD and you coming along. I'm afraid it might have gotten caught by the dogs. I don't like dogs. They hurt.- Not that I can't kill them, of course," I say, authority (sp???) in my voice. I follow the scent again, heading to Black Rock Lake.

Vegeta says with a strong voice while walking after Amari "Well to catch the dogs, the three of you seperate and wait, masking our scent around the bushes, luring them into a trap." He says as if rehearsed, in a clear, strong voice. but he also talks irritably, and snappy. Enough to make a wolf flinch.

"Well, Im not going to take orders, training or not. Im going to face these dogs, or badger, face-to-face. If they attack then I will kill them. If they run, then we know that they will be back with a hunter and I will kill them before they get to humans. And if they try to chase me, then I will lead them back to Vegeta, and I will kill a couple, and he will kill a couple. If I or Vegeta needs help, then MoonDaughter will run back and get someone. Now Im going to find these sons of a... ah, who knows whether I will find that female. Im going to find these pups of a..." My voice trails off as I walk to Black Rock Lake.

She cast a quick glance at their prey before turning back to face the wolves. "Hey hey hey, now wait a second." She snapped at them, in that strange, almost joking-ish sort of manner. "Even if you do manage to kill these dogs for no reason whatsoever, the hunters will get suspicious." She continued, making sure to emphasise the 'will'. "And if that happens, they will come. And we do not want them to come. For they may kill us. Or chase us off. And we cannot let that happen." She snapped, almost shouting in a calm, yet dark manner.

MD looks at them and whines "Yea, I agree with Jewelz... Why should we kill those dogs? They are wolves too! Well, kinda..." She says and looks at snow again...

Vegeta rolls his eyes and says "I never said we would kill them, I mean't we would knock 'em up a bit just to scare them away so they don't come back for a while."

She looks at Vegeta again "But why? Hunters will catch you if you will try to scare the dogs away... And dogs aren't so stupid like you think..." She says and whines again, watching them with fear in her eyes...

Vegeta says "Well that's why were hiding ourselves."

She tried not to growl at Vegeta's arrogance from his last remark. "No matter what we do to these dogs, the humans will get suspicious. The dogs know we are stronger than them and that there are quite a few of us. They won't come here on their own, and actually going to their camp is too risky. Just ignore the fact that they exist and they'll be fine; they will leave soon enough."

"Yea, they will leave... Or they will start building towns and, if we get lucky, they will put us in zoos or parks... Or maybe they will catch us and put us in dog's fight's or use us to make stronger dogs... Anyways, scaring dogs is useless. We can't do anything now... Only hope that humans won't kill us and use our pelts as things to wear on neck or somethin..." MD says and sits looking at snow near her paws...

"Moon Daughter." She snapped at the grey femme. "Do not think like that. For all we know, we are a protected species and live in a wildlife reserve. And those "hunters" looked like elk hunters, not illegal poachers. So don't worry. I don't want to discuss this anymore; let us head back to the den, bring the elk with you." She walked over and bent down over the carcass, before pulling backwards on it and tearing off one of the hind legs. She stood, waiting for the other's to follow.

(Ok, seeing as this is unrealistic and NOT the plot Moon planned, we will abandon it)

(Yea sorry, I forgot lol)

"Ok... Sorry..." MD says and stands up. She walks over to bull and looks at it sadly, before tearing another hind leg. She starts walking towards den...

"For havens sakes leaves the dogs alone" Thunder walks in confidently "And i was talking to you Jewelz" he smerked "But as for the hunter's dogs just leave them" he said almost growl, giving Vegeta a death stare. Quickly bearing his teeth to him as a sign as dominace. Walking over to stand next to Jewelz waitng for the other to follow so the could walk back to the den together.

MD stares at Thunder. Suddenly she drops down bull's leg and screams. She runs over to Thunder and hugs him tightly "OMG Thunder you are back!!!" She says almost shouting, and hugs him even tightier...

Thunder felt as if his eyes were poping out. "That's nice" huffed Thunder feeling like his lungs have been compressed to a small ball. "You can let go now, ya know"

"Nope, then you will go away again!" MD says, but lets him free "Can you help us with this bull?" She asks Thunder as she picks up leg she dropped...

She cast a quick glare at Thunder, before letting it turn into a smug smile. "Uhh, Moon Daughter, leave that to me..." She said, sort of surprised of her feelings towards her mate. "And Thunder, remember, Vegeta's the Brave Fang, try not to push your luck too much." She said with a wink, before adding in, "But I have the most dominance out of us, and I don't want you wolves to ignore me, or else there will be serious consequences." She laughed as she began trotting back to the den, turning around to see if they were following.

Vegeta's jaws clench together as an aggressive, deep growl comes out from his throat as Thunder gives him the death stare. Being that I have a huge temper, he snarls and raises my tail high above his but not so much as to be higher than Jewelz. That fool! How dare he! I think bitterly to myself. I then pad off towards the den, not even caring if they follow or not, my temper flaming like fire in gasoline. Not being in the mood.
